Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our 7 Wonders Casual Tournament!

On Saturday, June 6th at 2 PM, compete in a casual tournament for the award-winning board game 7 Wonders! Prove that you’re the greatest by leading one of the 7 great cities of the Ancient World to victory, and receive a winner diploma for your efforts! The 3 top players receive a special art Manneken Pis wonder, and all participants receive an Architects Guild card. Each round is 45 minutes, and rounds are based on attendance. Groups can be as large as 7 players, and as small as 3!

We only have room for up to 14 players, so claim your spot by checking in at least 30 minutes before the event starts! Entry is $5.

What is 7 Wonders?

Gather resources, broaden your military prowess, and develop trade routes as you travel through 3 ages. Lead your city to greatness! 7 Wonders functions as a card development game. Players pull cards from specific decks, pass them around, and pay their costs as they go. Some cards have immediate effects, some provide later bonuses, discounts, and more!

At the end of the game, tally up your progress and see who qualifies as the best leader of the 7 Wonders greatest cities!

7 Wonders is one of the most-awarded board games in the world, and Gnome Games Green Bay West formally invites you to join us in a casual tournament to see who can create the most splendid city!

Players will participate in a Swiss style tournament to determine a winner. All players will receive unique new promos for participating. A special diploma will be presented to the winner to commemorate their accomplishment!

Rules

  • For each game, Wonders are distributed to players randomly. Each player may choose to play on the Day side or Night side of the Wonder they receive.
  • Each game has a time limit of 45 minutes. At the end of this time, the game immediately ends and points are counted.
  • Players manage their own table and the preparation of their game, as well as final scoring. Players are responsible for checking setup (shuffling cards, number of coins received, etc). There is no recourse if a game begins with an invalid setup.
  • At the end of the game, all players at the table complete and verify the results sheet. The winner submits it to the organizers.
  • At any time, participants may ask a judge for a rules clarification
  • Each player may have a rules summary or documents that they think will be helpful during the game. They can also take notes. Their opponents cannot look at these notes or documents. The size of these notes and documents can be no larger than an A4/US Letter sheet.
  • Judges have the final say when resolving rule misunderstandings, conflicts, cheating accusations, unsportsmanlike conduct, or any other dispute related to the tournament.
