Set in the Middle Ages, Of Popes and Plagues has you wage war on your enemies and lead a Holy Crusade! Beware, for you must also prepare for the coming of the dreadful Plague. Build your village and improve your population while throwing Pestilence at your opponents. Whoever lives the longest wins! This game features illuminated artwork modeled on 14th Century woodcuts.

About Of Popes and Plagues:

“A fast-paced card game of Popes, Plagues, & Pestilence set in the Middle-Ages! Make war on your enemies, lead a Holy Crusade, but above all else, prepare for the coming of the Plague! You’ll building up your village and population and then fighting to outlast your opponents once the plague breaks out… he who dies last wins. Gotcha cards and die rolls affect the outcome but the player makes subtle decisions about when and what to build and when to focus on beating other players/populations down.”
