These decks keep newer players in mind and emphasize easy to read and understandable mechanics. \nOur entry for this event is the purchase of two Jumpstart Booster Packs! Otherwise\, no experience needed. This event aims solely at teaching you how to play Magic the Gathering! \nPlayers must have a Wizards account and enter into our event to qualify for a Welcome Deck. Don’t have one? Sign up here! Kids under 16 can register as guests. \nWhat is Magic the Gathering?\nMagic is a collectible trading card game of fun-filled\, strategic games to play with friends old and new. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Magic Presents: Open the Archive event!\nOn Wednesday\, June 10th at 5 PM\, compete in a special pick 2 Draft event with a fun Mystical Archive twist! Each player receives 3 Secrets of Strixhaven packs. When they open their first pack\, they pick 2 cards and take the Mystical Archive card within the pack\, then pass the cards around! Each player picks two cards until they run out\, then open the next pack and pass cards in the opposite direction. This continues until all packs are open. Then play begins! In this unique event\, there are only two rounds. Anyone that wins both of their matches (and remains undefeated) receives an exclusive Mystical Archive challenge coin! These come in blind boxes that contain one of five variations of the challenge coin. \nEntry is $25. Each round won awards players with an additional Secrets of Strixhaven pack! DESCRIPTION:Are you ready for the Chaos over at Gnome Games Appleton East!?\nThursday\, June 11th at 5:30pm is our Chaos Draft at Gnome Games Appleton East! \n\n$30 entry\n5:30pm Start Time\n\nThis special Magic the Gathering event is a Chaos Draft! We’ll have up to 2 pods of 8\, with each pod having 24 different packs to choose from. Each pack is put face-up for all of the players to see at the start of the draft. Players in each pod are put in a random order\, 1-8. The first player in each pod will pick from their 24 possible packs\, then the second\, etc. When it gets to the 8th (or last) player\, that player will pick their first pack\, then pick their second pack; with the order continuing 7 – 1. After the first player picks their second pack\, they’ll pick their third and it will go through the player order one last time 2-8. Until everyone has their 3 packs! \nPlayers then do a 3 pack draft with those packs that they’ve picked\, build 40 card minimum decks and then will play 3 rounds!
