Just for participating\, you receive a special Welcome Deck. These decks keep newer players in mind and emphasize easy to read and understandable mechanics. \nOur entry for this event is the purchase of two Jumpstart Booster Packs! Otherwise\, no experience needed. This event aims solely at teaching you how to play Magic the Gathering! \nPlayers must have a Wizards account and enter into our event to qualify for a Welcome Deck. Don’t have one? Sign up here! Kids under 16 can register as guests. \nWhat is Magic the Gathering?\nMagic is a collectible trading card game of fun-filled\, strategic games to play with friends old and new. Welcoming worldbuilders\, narrative lovers\, and gameplay enthusiasts alike\, Magic has something for everyone and countless ways to play. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Magic Presents: Open the Archive event!\nOn Wednesday\, June 3rd at 5 PM\, compete in a special pick 2 Draft event with a fun Mystical Archive twist! Each player receives 3 Secrets of Strixhaven packs. When they open their first pack\, they pick 2 cards and take the Mystical Archive card within the pack\, then pass the cards around! Each player picks two cards until they run out\, then open the next pack and pass cards in the opposite direction. This continues until all packs are open. Then play begins! In this unique event\, there are only two rounds. Anyone that wins both of their matches (and remains undefeated) receives an exclusive Mystical Archive challenge coin! These come in blind boxes that contain one of five variations of the challenge coin. \nEntry is $25. Each round won awards players with an additional Secrets of Strixhaven pack!
