DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Magic the Gathering: Secrets of Strixhaven Store Championship!\nOn Sunday\, May 10th at 12 PM\, compete in an exclusive Secrets of Strixhaven Store Championship! Occurring only once per set\, Store Championships are a great way to up your competitive Standard format game by playing against others for exclusive promotional cards. Rounds are based on attendance\, with 5 rounds being the most rounds possible. There is no Top Cut. Rounds are 50 minutes\, best of 2. Participants receive an Unearth promotional card. The top 8 players receive a Psychic Frog promotional card\, and the Winner receives an exclusive full art Abhorrent Oculus promotional card! \nEntry is $20. \nPlayers must have a standard legal deck. As a reminder\, the Wizards of the Coast website provides a list of all currently legal sets in Standard. Players must have a Wizards account to register for the event. To register ahead of time\, use the following code on the Companion App: EZM4QQD \nPlayers can brush up on their skills at our Standard Showdown tournaments\, every Sunday at 1 PM! \nWhat is Standard Showdown?\n“Standard” refers to a format in Magic the Gathering where decks consist of 60 cards. Decks can have no more than 4 copies of any given card (excluding Basic lands). Our Magic Standard Showdown event is a constructed tournament where players compete in 1 on 1 matches for packs and exclusive promotional cards. These change with every set!
