They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nPlayers may apply for events ahead of time using the new NEURON app! Occurring only once per set\, Store Championships are a great way to up your competitive Standard format game by playing against others for exclusive promotional cards. Rounds are based on attendance\, with 5 rounds being the most rounds possible. There is no Top Cut. Rounds are 50 minutes\, best of 2. Participants receive an Unearth promotional card. The top 8 players receive a Psychic Frog promotional card\, and the Winner receives an exclusive full art Abhorrent Oculus promotional card! \nEntry is $20. \nPlayers must have a standard legal deck. As a reminder\, the Wizards of the Coast website provides a list of all currently legal sets in Standard. Players must have a Wizards account to register for the event. To register ahead of time\, use the following code on the Companion App: EZM4QQD \nPlayers can brush up on their skills at our Standard Showdown tournaments\, every Sunday at 1 PM! \nWhat is Standard Showdown?\n“Standard” refers to a format in Magic the Gathering where decks consist of 60 cards. Decks can have no more than 4 copies of any given card (excluding Basic lands). Our Magic Standard Showdown event is a constructed tournament where players compete in 1 on 1 matches for packs and exclusive promotional cards. These change with every set!
