From 6 to 9 PM\, stop in and purchase two Jumpstart Boosters to shuffle into a deck\, and one of our very own staff members will teach you! Just for participating\, you receive a special Welcome Deck. These decks keep newer players in mind and emphasize easy to read and understandable mechanics. \nOur entry for this event is the purchase of two Jumpstart Booster Packs! Otherwise\, no experience needed. This event aims solely at teaching you how to play Magic the Gathering! \nPlayers must have a Wizards account and enter into our event to qualify for a Welcome Deck. Don’t have one? Sign up here! Kids under 16 can register as guests. \nWhat is Magic the Gathering?\nMagic is a collectible trading card game of fun-filled\, strategic games to play with friends old and new. Welcoming worldbuilders\, narrative lovers\, and gameplay enthusiasts alike\, Magic has something for everyone and countless ways to play. Mystical Archive cards—some of the most exciting pulls in each pack—can be played in any deck\, regardless of color\, opening new strategies and letting players fully enjoy every Mystical Archive card they draft. \nPlayers will begin each game with an emblem that states: Mana of any type can be spent to cast Mystical Archive cards. \nSpecial drafting rule: With each player’s first pick from each pack\, they also take the Mystical Archive card from that pack. \nPlayers who finish the event with a winning record (having more wins than losses) receive a blind-pack challenge coin featuring one of five Mystical Archive art designs.
