SUMMARY:Riftbound Nexus Nights - Saturday Tournament at Green Bay West
DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. Players may use those cards to modify their deck after the first game of a match.\n403.6. Players may count the cards in their opponents’ sideboards at any time.\n403.7. A player may look at their own sideboard at any time\, but must keep it distinguishable from other cards.\n403.8. A player’s deck and sideboard must be returned to their registered states before the first game of the next match.\n\nMatch \n\n404.1. A match of Riftbound consists of a series of games that are played until one side has won a predetermined number of games.\n404.2. Most matches of Riftbound are “best of 3\,” meaning the predetermined number of games to win is 2.\n404.3. Games that end in a draw do not count toward this goal.\n404.4. If the competition round ends (due to time limits) prior to any side achieving the goal\, the winner of the match is the one who has won the most games.\n404.5. If all sides have equal game wins\, the match is a draw.\n\n408. End of Match Procedure \n\n408.1. A match is complete once a match result is recorded by players or a tournament official.\n408.2. If the time limit for a competition round is reached before a winner is determined\, the player whose turn it is finishes their turn.\n\n408.2.a. After that player’s turn is complete\, three additional turns are played\, and then the match ends.\n408.2.b. If the game is incomplete at the end of the additional turns\, a player is declared the winner of the game if they have a point lead of two or more. If no player has a point lead of two or more\, the game is a draw.\n408.2.c. Additional turns are untimed\, but at professional OPL a judge must be present to ensure a reasonable pace of play.\n408.2.d. If the players are between games when the round time ends\, no new game is started.\n\n\n\nLinks\nFridays you may want to come in and playtest\, and Saturdays are for tournaments! Watch for both on our calendar: www.calendargnomegame.com/events/month \nYou’ll want to stay up to date with the most current errata or rules changes\, some of which is available here: https://riftbound.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/rules-and-releases/riftbound-origins-card-errata/  \nIf you’re looking for help building decks you might like information from the designers: https://riftbound.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/rules-and-releases/deckbuilding-primer/

SUMMARY:Riftbound: Unleashed Pre-Rift Event at Gnome Games Green Bay East
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Green Bay East for a Riftbound: Unleashed Pre-Rift Event!\nYou’re invited to the Pre-Rift event for Unleashed at Gnome Games Green Bay East!\nSaturday\, May 2nd at 1:30pm the Gnomes will be hosting up to 16 players* for a chance to play with the Unleashed cards before the full release! \nEntry is $35+tax and gets you a Player kit and entry to the 3 rounds of play\, where each round you win you receive a pack of Unleashed! \n• Each Player Kit contains\n♦ 1 Mini-precon (15 cards including Champion Legend\, Champion Unit)\n♦ 5 Spiritforged Booster Packs\n♦ 1 Pre-Rift Promo Card \nPreregister for the event at: https://locator.riftbound.uvsgames.com/events/341601 \n\n“The Jungle is a living force. It sees you before you see it. It rewards patience\, punishes arrogance\, and belongs to those who know how to move through it without being seen. At the heart of Riftbound’s third set is a single unifying idea: \n“Power strikes from the shadows.” \nChampions like Master Yi\, Diana\, Vi\, and Pyke embody this idea of hidden strength and patient transformation. Each has walked a solitary path\, shaped not in the spotlight\, but in silence. Whether it’s Yi’s clarity through focus\, Diana’s exile-forged conviction\, Vi’s relentless pursuit of justice\, or Pyke’s calculated retribution\, all four share a common truth: their power was earned in the dark. They represent the Jungle’s rhythm: wait\, watch\, strike\, and prove that real strength doesn’t roar. It lurks\, builds\, and erupts when the moment is right. \nIn short\, Unleashed is about becoming. \nChampions don’t arrive fully formed\, they grow\, evolve\, and strike only when it matters. \nThe Jungle is their crucible\, and Unleashed introduces the new XP mechanic to illustrate that change\, enabling fantastic new abilities. Every XP token\, every monster defeated\, every hidden advantage gained… is a step toward dominance.” \nHow do you play a Pre-Rift Event?\nWatch for updates and clarifications to cards and rules on the official Riftbound website! \nJoin other Riftbound events at Gnome Games on our calendar and the official Riftbound event calendar! \n

At a pre-rift event\, players open a pre-rift kit\, build up their decks with the contents within\, and play in a 3 round Swiss style tournament using their decks. Each match won awards players with an additional Unleashed pack! Players have 50 minutes to build their decks before the tournament starts. Rounds are 50 minutes\, best of 3. \nPlayers must register ahead of time on the Riftbound Event Locator. Our event is here! A carde.io account with a linked Riot Account is required for registration. Take a peek at our Appleton North Pre-Rifts on Sunday\, May 3rd and Monday\, May 4th as well! \nWhat is Riftbound?\nRiftbound is a collectable trading card game featuring a vast array of characters and locales from League of Legends. Choose a Legend and Chosen Champion card for your deck and battle it out between 2 to 4 players in various game modes! The most important card in your deck is your champion legend. This is the card you build your deck around—it determines your options for the chosen champion who starts faceup on the board and who you’ll send to fight for you\, and it defines the domains (colors) of your deck’s cards. \nYour legend and your chosen champion define your strategy. Maybe your plan is quick strikes\, maybe it’s to build up an unstoppable huge army\, or maybe it’s to use one incredibly powerful and mobile fighter. You’ll have additional units (and other champion units) to send to fight\, spells to help them win\, and even gear to empower your team. \nFor a more guided How to Play experience\, take a look at the Riftbound How to Play website! \nWant more Riftbound news for events and sets? Check out their website! \nOur Gnome Games calendar has more Riftbound events to see!

SUMMARY:Riftbound: Unleashed Summoner Skirmish at Green Bay West - $15
DESCRIPTION:Gnome Games Green Bay West invites you to our June Riftbound: Unleashed Summoner Skirmish!\nOn Saturday\, May 30th at 10:30 AM join us for a Unleashed Summoner Skirmish! These exclusive\, competitive level events offer packs\, exclusive prizing\, and a Round 1 bye at the Regional Qualifiers to the winner! Rounds depend on attendance\, and at most are 5 Rounds with a Top 8 Top Cut. Our rounds are 60 minutes\, best of 3. \nEach round won awards players with an Unleashed pack! Top Cut is also timed\, with play speed and overtime kept in mind. Top Cut single elimination playoffs are 60 minutes\, best of 3. Each player that participates receives a participation promo card\, the top 8 receive a promo card\, and the grand Winner gets a Champion playmat! Keep an eye out for updates on the specific promos. \nAt high OPL\, during playoff matches that occur following the end of Swiss rounds\, the higher ranked player from the Swiss rounds is automatically the designated player for the first game of each match. \nEntry is $15. Players must register ahead of time on the Riftbound event locator. To sign up\, players must have a carde.io account and a linked Riot account. \nEnd of Match Procedure can be used to determine a winner if time runs out: \n\n408.4.a. When time is reached before a winner is determined\, if players are in-between games\, if a player has more game wins in the match they win the match. If game wins are tied\, proceed to 408.4.d.\n408.4.b. When time is reached before a winner is determined\, if players are in the middle of a game\, the player whose turn it is finishes their turn.\n408.4.c. After that player’s turn is complete\, three additional turns are played. At the conclusion of those additional turns:\n\n408.4.c.1. If a player has the most points in the current game\, they win that game. Then\, if a player has more game wins in the match\, they win the match. If the game score is tied\, proceed to 408.4.d.\n408.4.c.2. If the point score of the current game is tied\, but a player has the most game wins in the match\, that player wins the match.\n408.4.c.3. If the point score of the current game is tied and the game score of the match is tied\, players continue to play until the next point is scored. The player who scores that point wins the match. This does not remove normal scoring restrictions if the next point is the Final Point. See CR 448.1.a. for Final Point details.\n\n\n408.4.d. If the game score is tied and a new game needs to be started\, players start the new game and act as though time immediately runs out\, beginning the process of 408.4.a.\, except with five additional turns following the first player’s turn before moving into sudden death scoring as described in 408.4.c.3. if the point score is tied at the end of those turns.
