These events are entry-level competitions\, great for competitors of all experience levels! League Challenges specifically grant Championship Points toward earning an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. League Challenge events are typically held once per month at select Pokémon League locations. DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. Players may use those cards to modify their deck after the first game of a match.\n403.6. Players may count the cards in their opponents’ sideboards at any time.\n403.7. Players need a Konami ID to register for the event in-store. \nWhat is Genesys? \nThe Genesys rules are simple: \nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are available. All other cards are. Players use the original field layout\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list does not apply. All of these cards are available\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. The usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. Picture it: peaceful vineyards\, picturesque wineries.  You are all attendees at the annual wine-tasting festival and having fun when you happen upon the body of Barry Underwood\, a local vineyard owner\, stashed beneath his wine cellar! Barry has been missing for six long years but with the discovery of his body comes a wealth of new clues to solve the mystery. It’s a vintage murder and you may be a suspect! \nSaturday May 9th \n1:00pm\n$20.00 Entry\nLimit 6 guests \nEach player will be assigned a character. Each character comes with a booklet including roles\, background information\, and a few tasty secrets. One participant will be the murderer\, and it’s up to everyone to discover who it is before they can strike again. It’s in each guest’s best interest to prove their innocence by interrogating their fellow suspects until the murderer is exposed! \n“The Underwood mansion\, brightly lit and richly decorated is the scene of a congenial gathering of family and friends. Meeting and greeting at the door were Ralph Rottingrape and his wife\, Tiny Bubbles. As the guests lifted their glasses to toast their hosts and the new vintage of Pinot Noir\, a small tremor shook the building. Used to such things in California\, the guests were generally unmoved until the old wooden floor buckled\, revealing the well-preserved body of former vineyard owner\, Barry Underwood. They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nPlayers may apply for events ahead of time using the new NEURON app! The NEURON app is for entry\, results submission\, pairings\, deck lists and more! \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh?\nIn Yu-Gi-Oh!\, two players Duel each other using a variety of Monster\, Spell\, and Trap Cards to defeat their opponent’s monsters and be the first to drop the other’s Life Points to 0. Players draw cards from their respective decks and take turns playing cards onto “the field”.
