These exclusive\, competitive level events offer packs\, exclusive prizing\, and a Round 1 bye at the Regional Qualifiers to the winner! Rounds depend on attendance\, and at most are 5 Rounds with a Top 8 Top Cut. Our rounds are 60 minutes\, best of 3. Each round won awards players with a Spiritforged pack! Top Cut is also timed\, with play speed and overtime kept in mind. Top Cut single elimination playoffs are 60 minutes\, best of 3. Each player that participates receives a participation promo card\, the top 8 receive a promo card\, and the grand Winner gets a Champion playmat! Keep an eye out for updates on the specific promos. \nEntry is $15. Players must register ahead of time on the Riftbound event locator. To sign up\, players must have a carde.io account and a linked Riot account. \nWhat is Riftbound?\nRiftbound is a collectable trading card game featuring a vast array of characters and locales from League of Legends. Choose a Legend and Chosen Champion card for your deck and battle it out between 2 to 4 players in various game modes! The most important card in your deck is your champion legend. This is the card you build your deck around—it determines your options for the chosen champion who starts faceup on the board and who you’ll send to fight for you\, and it defines the domains (colors) of your deck’s cards. \nYour legend and your chosen champion define your strategy. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our April Pokémon TCG League Challenge!\nOn Saturday\, April 24th at 12 PM\, battle in a competitive Pokémon tournament! Through attendance-based rounds\, find out who plays their deck the best! Rounds are 30 minutes\, best of one. Each match won awards you with Championship Points and Prize Packs\, so the better you do\, the more likely you are to get an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships! Additionally each round\, a Prize Pack goes out to a random player! \nEntry for Juniors and Seniors is $5\, and entry for Masters is $10. Players must have a Pokémon ID to enter into the tournament. Don’t have one? We can help you sign up! We have sheets available in-store\, and the rest of the registration process can be done at home. \nThis tournament requires a deck list. We provide them if you don’t have one\, but come in a bit earlier to allow time to fill it out! \nWhat is a Pokémon League Challenge?\nPokémon League Challenges are competitive level tournaments at the Local Store level. These events are entry-level competitions\, great for competitors of all experience levels! League Challenges specifically grant Championship Points toward earning an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. League Challenge events are typically held once per month at select Pokémon League locations. These events use the Standard format\, and require decks to be Tournament legal. \nAt higher levels are Pokémon League Cups. Typically held quarterly\, League Cup event competitors can expect a step up\, with tougher competitors vying for greater rewards. DESCRIPTION:Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys is at Gnome Games Green Bay East on Saturdays!\nThe latest format for Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys has arrived at Gnome Games! We’re hosting Saturday tournaments each week at 12:00pm for this new format\, with $5+tax entry. Like our Advanced Format tournaments it is Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack\, with OTS packs being up for grabs! \nBut what is Genesys?\nA new format of play and deck building that allows for more potential cards to be used! \nThe Genesys rules are simple:  \n\n\n\nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck\, Extra Deck\, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event. \n The standard point cap is 100\, but events can be run with any point cap\, or even a zero-point cap! Official Tournament Stores can set their own caps for their tournaments.\n\n\n\n\nGnome Games is using the standard point cap of 100 for these tournaments. DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. Players may use those cards to modify their deck after the first game of a match.\n403.6. Players may count the cards in their opponents’ sideboards at any time.\n403.7. A player may look at their own sideboard at any time\, but must keep it distinguishable from other cards.\n403.8. A player’s deck and sideboard must be returned to their registered states before the first game of the next match.\n\nMatch \n\n404.1. A match of Riftbound consists of a series of games that are played until one side has won a predetermined number of games.\n404.2. Most matches of Riftbound are “best of 3\,” meaning the predetermined number of games to win is 2.\n404.3. Games that end in a draw do not count toward this goal.\n404.4. If the competition round ends (due to time limits) prior to any side achieving the goal\, the winner of the match is the one who has won the most games.\n404.5. If all sides have equal game wins\, the match is a draw.\n\n408. End of Match Procedure \n\n408.1. A match is complete once a match result is recorded by players or a tournament official.\n408.2. If the time limit for a competition round is reached before a winner is determined\, the player whose turn it is finishes their turn.\n\n408.2.a. After that player’s turn is complete\, three additional turns are played\, and then the match ends.\n408.2.b. If the game is incomplete at the end of the additional turns\, a player is declared the winner of the game if they have a point lead of two or more. If no player has a point lead of two or more\, the game is a draw.\n408.2.c. Additional turns are untimed\, but at professional OPL a judge must be present to ensure a reasonable pace of play.\n408.2.d.
