You can have a Neopet Deck of at least 3 and up to 5 Neopets of different species (all 5 must have a different name)\, and a Rainbow Pool with up to 10 unique Rainbow Pool Neopets. Additional cards may have unique rules text having them start in your Rainbow Pool. These cards do not count towards the 10 Rainbow Pool Neopet limit. We’re hosting Thursday tournaments each week at 5:30pm for this new format\, with $5+tax entry. Like our Advanced Format tournaments it is Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack\, with OTS packs being up for grabs! \nBut what is Genesys?\nA new format of play and deck building that allows for more potential cards to be used! \nThe Genesys rules are simple:  \n\n\n\nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck\, Extra Deck\, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event. \n The standard point cap is 100\, but events can be run with any point cap\, or even a zero-point cap! Official Tournament Stores can set their own caps for their tournaments.\n\n\n\n\nGnome Games is using the standard point cap of 100 for these tournaments. Gnomes Games invites you to go on a tour of the campus and learn the Secrets of Strixhaven in a Magic the Gathering prerelease event! \nClass Schedule\nDate: Friday\, April 17th\nTime: Noon\nEntry: $45+tax\nClass: Secrets of Strixhaven Prerelease 201\nCompanion Entry code: EZMJ6GN \n201 Curriculum Guide:\nSecrets of Strixhaven Prerelease 201 at Gnome Games Green Bay West has multiple potential dates and is meant for those who are interested in: \n\nRandomly receiving One of Five Secrets of Strixhaven prerelease packs\, focusing on one of the five colleges of Strixhaven: Silverquill\, Prismari\, Witherbloom\, Lorehold\, and Quandrix!\n\nEach Prerelease pack contains: A College-Themed Seeded Booster\, Spindown Counter\, a bonus Foil Rare or Mythic Rare card and 5 Secrets of Strixhaven Play Boosters.\nThe College-Themed Seeded Booster is themed around one of the five Strixhaven colleges.\n\n\nBuilding a 40 card minimum deck out of their prerelease pack and basic lands provided by Gnome Games!\nPlaying 3 rounds of Magic the Gathering with the deck made during a 50 minute deckbuilding period.\n\nEach round is decided by best 2 of 3 games during a 50 minute time frame.\n\n\nWinning a Secrets of Strixhaven Play Booster with each match win!\nEnjoying the chance to play with the newest cards with the Magic the Gathering community at Gnome Games!\n\nStrixhaven University\nFounded over 700 years ago by five spellcasting dragons\, Strixhaven University is Arcavios’s premier institution of magical learning\, drawing promising young mages from all across the Multiverse to study in its halls. \nStrixhaven is divided into five colleges\, each with their own campus\, faculty\, and academic fields of study. Players will open 5 packs of Tokyo Ghoul and use them as a deck to compete in matches. Each round won awards players with an additional pack! Each participant gets a Release Event Pack and a promotional card. One Winner will get a special Winner foil stamped promotional card! \nEntry is $30 + sales tax. Players need to register ahead of time on Bandai TCG+ app here! \nWhat do I need to know for Deckbuilding?\nBecause of how sealed events are operated\, decks can have more than four cards with the same card number. It can also contain more than four of each of the Special\, Color\, and Final trigger types. 5 booster packs contribute to creating as close to a 60 card deck as possible. A deck needs 3 Action Point cards\, Raids can be performed using cards with two different colors\, and five Special triggers can be in a deck.
