DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament!\nWednesdays at 5:30 and Sundays at 1 PM\, compete in our very own weekly tournaments for Yu-Gi-Oh! Battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament using your very own constructed decks. Each match won awards you with an OTS pack! If you haven’t received one by the end of the event\, you get one just for participating! \nWeekly tournaments are a great way to hang out\, test out new decks\, chat about Yu-Gi-Oh!\, and more! Our entry fee is $5. Don’t have a deck? Check out our structure decks for sale in store! They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh?\nIn Yu-Gi-Oh!\, two players Duel each other using a variety of Monster\, Spell\, and Trap Cards to defeat their opponent’s monsters and be the first to drop the other’s Life Points to 0. Players draw cards from their respective decks and take turns playing cards onto “the field”. Each player uses a deck containing forty to sixty cards\, and an optional “extra deck” of up to fifteen cards. Our own Dungeon Master (DM) will guide you through a mini session of daring adventure and fun role-playing for a night to remember! \nWhat do I need to bring?\nA full set of dice is required to play. To be more specific\, a full set of dice includes a d4 (4-sided die)\, d6 (6-sided die)\, d8 (8-sided die)\, d10 (10-sided die)\, percentile d10 (00-90)\, d12 (12-sided die)\, and d20 (20-sided die). We provide pre-made character sheets! Entry is $10. \nWhat is Dungeons & Dragons?\nDungeons & Dragons is a classic tabletop role-playing game that has been around since 1974! Throughout the years it has developed and grown into a beloved franchise of not just rulebooks\, but novels\, video games\, and even popular movies! In Dungeons & Dragons\, players will take on the role of their very own character and act out all of their movements and conversations themselves. Often times these actions will lead into checks the player has to make\, where they will roll dice and add some character statistics together to see how well they do! Both success and failure come together to make these games happen\, so be ready for anything! \nAn important part to playing Dungeons & Dragons is having a story teller\, lovingly labeled as the Dungeon Master (DM)! If you’re new to Commander\, or want to come out with your friends and play with the new set\, this is the perfect opportunity to do so! \nPlay follows the normal Two-Headed Giant rules\, with a few added exceptions: \n\nEach team starts with 60 life.\nA team loses when they take 21 or more damage from a single commander OR have 15 or more poison counters.\n\nMore info on Two-Headed Giant Rules can be found here: https://magic.wizards.com/en/formats/two-headed-giant \nCompanion App Code: J28G86M \nCommander Rules\nPlay Rules/Modifiers\n\nThis format is for four players per game and deck sizes are 99 cards + 1 commander card. The game duration for this format should be about 20 minutes per player. The Commander format is all about picking your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual\, multiplayer format\, you choose a legendary creature or artifact to serve as your commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity and unique abilities. Players are only allowed one of each card in their deck\, with the exception of basic lands\, but they can use cards from throughout Magic‘s history. \nColor Identity\nA card’s color identity can come from any part of that card\, including its casting cost and any mana symbols in its text. Every card in your Commander deck must only use mana symbols that also appear on your commander. Colorless cards are allowed as well. \nCommand Zone\nThis is where your commander resides during the game when they are not in play. At the start of the game\, each player puts their commander face up into the command zone. A commander can be cast from the command zone for its normal costs\, plus an additional two mana for each previous time it’s been cast from the command zone this game. If your commander would be put into your library\, hand\, graveyard or exile from anywhere\, you may return it to your command zone instead. \nCommander Damage\nA player that’s been dealt 21 or more combat damage by the same commander over the course of the game loses the game. DESCRIPTION:One Piece Op-15 Adventure on Kami’s Island is here! Join us at Gnome Games Green Bay East to participate in a prerelease event to celebrate! \nTuesday\, March 31st\n6pm\n$30+tax \nOne Piece Sealed events consist of 6 booster packs given to each player during a deck-building phase of the tournament. Each player brings 10 DON!!\, and may either utilize the leader card given as part of entry\, a leader card pulled from one of the packs\, or a leader they bring from home.\nUnlike standard play\, you can ignore the normal deck building colour restrictions based on your leader and can include cards of any colour in your deck\, and there are additional special rules for deckbuilding. \nAfter opening 6 packs\, players build a 40-card deck\, and a 10 DON!! card deck. There are no banned or restricted cards\, and players can include as many copies of cards with the same card number as they like. (There is no 4-card limit and 5 or more copies of a card with the same card number can be included in decks.) Any cards left over from deck construction are treated as sideboard cards. \nAfter everyone’s decks are built\, we’ll play 3 rounds\, where each round you win\, you win a pack of OP-15 as a prize! \nParticipation promos go out to every player during the first round\, and the winner gets a winner stamped Boa Hancock! \nThere is an errata to one card from this set: Arlong OP15-023:\nThe card reads: “Give up to 1 rested DON!! card from its owner’s cost area to its owner’s Leader or 1 of their Characters.”\nThe errata has the card actually be: “Give up to 1 DON!! card from its owner’s cost area to its owner’s Leader or 1 of their Characters.” \nMore information: https://en.onepiece-cardgame.com/events/2026/store-tournament-op15/ \nWatch for additional opportunities to play at Gnome Games!
