Players use the original field layout\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list does not apply. All of these cards are available\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. The usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Rounds are based on attendance\, with 5 Rounds being the most rounds possible. We are not running Top Cut for this event. Matches are 30 minutes\, best of one. Participants receive a GD03-114 Look of Determination promo card\, Top 4 receive a ST07-011 Lockon Stratos (Neil) promo card\, and the grand Winner receives a ST07-005 Gundam Dynames promo card! \nEntry is $15. Players must register ahead of time on Bandai TCG+. \nWhat is required for this event?\nPlayers must have a tournament legal deck. These consist of a total of 50 cards\, made up of Unit cards\, Command cards\, Pilot Cards\, and Base cards that have up to two unique card colors. A deck cannot contain more than 4 cards with the same card number. \nA resource deck requires 10 resource cards. Any tokens required for the registered deck should also be present. \nWhat are Newtype Challenges?\nNewtype Challenges are a competitive level event for the Gundam Card Game. These are local tournaments recommended for intermediate to advanced level players looking to test their skills\, held at select locations only! DESCRIPTION:One Piece Op-15 Adventure on Kami’s Island is here! Our Log Pose has found us at the 15th set of One Piece just in time for a prerelease! \nSaturday\, March 28th\n4pm\n$30+tax \nOne Piece Sealed events consist of 6 booster packs given to each player during a deck-building phase of the tournament. Each player brings 10 don\, and may either utilize the leader card given as part of entry\, a leader card pulled from one of the packs\, or a leader they bring from home.\nUnlike standard play\, you can ignore the normal deck building colour restrictions based on your leader and can include cards of any colour in your deck\, and there are additional special rules for deckbuilding. \nAfter opening 6 packs\, players build a 40-card deck\, and a 10 DON!! card deck. There are no banned or restricted cards\, and players can include as many copies of cards with the same card number as they like. (There is no 4-card limit and 5 or more copies of a card with the same card number can be included in decks.) Battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament using your very own constructed decks. Each match won awards you with an OTS pack! If you haven’t received one by the end of the event\, you get one just for participating! \nWeekly tournaments are a great way to hang out\, test out new decks\, chat about Yu-Gi-Oh!\, and more! Our entry fee is $5. Don’t have a deck? Check out our structure decks for sale in store! They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh?\nIn Yu-Gi-Oh!\, two players Duel each other using a variety of Monster\, Spell\, and Trap Cards to defeat their opponent’s monsters and be the first to drop the other’s Life Points to 0. Players draw cards from their respective decks and take turns playing cards onto “the field”. Each player uses a deck containing forty to sixty cards\, and an optional “extra deck” of up to fifteen cards.
