In Two-Headed Giant\, the life total is shared and starts at 30 life. In Two-Headed Giant\, each two-player teams shares a starting 30 life and takes their turn simultaneously. The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance\, any reference to “you” on a card still applies to the individual holder. \nEffects that read “each opponent” or “each player”\, however\, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them\, their teammates or Planeswalkers their team controls. \n\nThe team that goes first skips their first draw step.\nConstructed: Only four copies of any non-basic land card are allowed to be shared between teammates. 60 card deck.\nLimited: Players share a card pool. Players pool the cards they open and build decks together. 40 card deck.\nCommander: 99 card deck + a Commander card.\n\nThere is no unified construction\, though each player’s deck should be a legal Commander deck by itself.\nEach team starts with 60 life.\nA team loses when they take 21 or more damage from a single commander OR have 15 or more poison counters.\n\n\n\n  \nWhat Is Prerelease? \nPrerelease celebrates the launch of a new set and is your players’ first opportunity to explore what the set has to offer. Win-a-match\, win-a-pack!\nJune 22 at 5pm\nEntry: $25\nPlayer Capacity: 8 \nReserve your spot on Carde.io: https://locator.riftbound.uvsgames.com/events/625278 \nDraft is a limited format where players are each provided with 3 unopened Riftbound booster packs to open and draft amongst other players. Drafts pods run with 4-8 players. Each player will open their first booster pack\, pick a card from it\, then pass the remaining cards to the player on their left. Once the first pack is completed\, open the second pack\, pick a card\, but this time pass to the player on your right. Repeat the same process with the third pack but pass to the left. \n\nMain decks for draft must be at least 20 cards but can be more.\nThe domain identity of a draft deck is any three domains\, or any domain plus the domains of the deck’s Champion Legend.\nA draft deck may have any Champion Unit that is included in its domain identity as its Chosen Champion.\nA draft deck may contain any signature spells that are fully included in its domain identity.\nA player may opt not to use a Champion Legend or a Chosen Champion in their draft deck even if they have them among their drafted cards.\nIf a player’s deck is missing a Champion Legend and/or a Chosen Champion\, they draw a card at the start of their first Beginning Phase each game.\nThe normal restrictions on quantities of cards do not apply. So don’t wait\, grab a deck and be the very best (like no one ever was) to start your Pokémon adventure today! \nThis event welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. \n____________________________________________ \n \nWith Standard format rotating soon\, a reminder:\nFor in-person Play! \n\nCards with the “G” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in the 2026 Standard format. Cards with “H\,” “I\,” and “J” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released). A card’s legality status is not based on which expansion it’s from. Even if a card is from a recently released expansion\, players will need to refer to the regulation mark on the bottom of the card to see whether that card is legal for play.
