You can also register on pokemon.com! \nOur events are on: \n-May 9th @11am\n-May 14th @5:30pm\n-May 16th @11am \nWhat is Prerelease?\nA prerelease is a type of event that gives players the chance to get product early. In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. DESCRIPTION:Join the Gnomes on Saturdays at 12:30pm for a Riftbound Nexus Tournament!\n3 rounds of play\, with Win-A-Match\, Win-A-Pack prizing! \nEach match will be best 2 of 3\, 60 minute round. \nThis is a casual Local Constructed tournament with Swiss rounds! \nNexus Night promo packs will be awarded based on availability! \nHere are some pertinent tournament rules to follow!\nYou may have a sideboard\, following official rules: \n\n601.1.c.1. A player’s sideboard can include 8 or fewer cards.\n403.3. Limits on copies of named cards as defined by competition format apply to the combination of Main Deck and sideboard.\n403.4. Players may use sideboard cards to modify their deck in between games of a match. Sideboard cards must be exchanged 1 for 1 with Main Deck cards.\n\n403.4.a. During that time\, a player may change their Chosen Champion to one from their sideboard or Main Deck that meets the deckbuilding rules of the competition format.\n403.4.b. In constructed formats\, a player may not change their Runes\, Legend\, or Battlefields at any point after deck registration.\n403.4.c. After the sideboarding process\, a player’s Main Deck must meet deck size requirements dictated by the competition format.\n\n\n403.5. No sweat\, we’ve got a participation pack for you! Players need a Konami ID to register for the event in-store. \nWhat is Genesys? \nThe Genesys rules are simple: \nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are available. All other cards are. Players use the original field layout\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list does not apply. All of these cards are available\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. The usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. DESCRIPTION:Fight with cookies in the Cookie Run world on Sundays at 1:00pm in our weekly Cookie Run Braverse: Brave League! \n$10 Entry Fee. \nIn this 2-player game\, players use a 60-cards deck composed of Cookie cards\, Item cards\, Trap cards and Stage cards to compete against their opponent. The goal is to defeat your opponent’s cookies. Each cookie card has a Level (1\, 2\, or 3) and a number of Health Points (usually 1 to 6). The cookie will faint if their HP is reduced to 0\, and placed in their owner’s Break area. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament!\nWednesdays at 5:30 and Sundays at 1 PM\, compete in our very own weekly tournaments for Yu-Gi-Oh! Battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style tournament using your very own constructed decks. Each match won awards you with an OTS pack! If you haven’t received one by the end of the event\, you get one just for participating! \nWeekly tournaments are a great way to hang out\, test out new decks\, chat about Yu-Gi-Oh!\, and more! Our entry fee is $5. Don’t have a deck? Check out our structure decks for sale in store! They offer great ways to pick up and learn the game\, while highlighting iconic archetypes and characters from the franchise. \nPlayers may apply for events ahead of time using the new NEURON app! The NEURON app is for entry\, results submission\, pairings\, deck lists and more! \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh?\nIn Yu-Gi-Oh!\, two players Duel each other using a variety of Monster\, Spell\, and Trap Cards to defeat their opponent’s monsters and be the first to drop the other’s Life Points to 0. Players draw cards from their respective decks and take turns playing cards onto “the field”. Each player uses a deck containing forty to sixty cards\, and an optional “extra deck” of up to fifteen cards.
