DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Marvel Super Heroes with a Commander Party on Magic Monday at Gnome Games Green Bay West!\n\nMonday\, August 3rd\n6:00pm\n\nCompanion App Code: W27E23R \nThe event features special rules designed specifically for Marvel and includes play aids and hero cards to support play. Each pod of three to four players receives a play aid\, and hero cards are placed in the designated area of the play aid.\n \nEach player who joins in will get a special promotional card! (While supplies last.) \n  \nFor more information on Commander Format visit https://magic.wizards.com/en/formats/commander \n\nCommander Rules\nPlay Rules/Modifiers\n\nThis format is for four players per game and deck sizes are 99 cards + 1 commander card. The game duration for this format should be about 20 minutes per player. The Commander format is all about picking your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual\, multiplayer format\, you choose a legendary creature or artifact to serve as your commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity and unique abilities. Players are only allowed one of each card in their deck\, with the exception of basic lands\, but they can use cards from throughout Magic‘s history. \nColor Identity\nA card’s color identity can come from any part of that card\, including its casting cost and any mana symbols in its text. Every card in your Commander deck must only use mana symbols that also appear on your commander. Colorless cards are allowed as well. \nCommand Zone\nThis is where your commander resides during the game when they are not in play. At the start of the game\, each player puts their commander face up into the command zone. A commander can be cast from the command zone for its normal costs\, plus an additional two mana for each previous time it’s been cast from the command zone this game. If your commander would be put into your library\, hand\, graveyard or exile from anywhere\, you may return it to your command zone instead. \nCommander Damage\nA player that’s been dealt 21 or more combat damage by the same commander over the course of the game loses the game. Pokémon events\, the Standard format rotation for 2026 competitive play will go into effect on April 10\, 2026. \n\nCards with the “G” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in the 2026 Standard format. Cards with “H\,” “I\,” and “J” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released). A card’s legality status is not based on which expansion it’s from. Even if a card is from a recently released expansion\, players will need to refer to the regulation mark on the bottom of the card to see whether that card is legal for play. Join us every Thursday to experience a casual level tournament that introduces players to the basics of tournament structure. This event is intended to let players participate in a tournament and learn the basics of match structure\, battle rules\, and overall tournament flow. Our rules are based on the rules from https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Beyblade-X-Rules but streamlined to make it easier to understand for first time players.  \nEntry: Free!\nThursdays at 5pm\n3 v 3 Tournament\, 3 Round tournament\nArena: Green BeybladeX Beystadium\nPlayers bring a deck of 3 Beys (must be BeybladeX)\n \nMatch Type: \nEarn 4 points to win a set. Win two 4-point sets to win the match. \nMatch Structure: \n\nEach blader orders their Beys from left to right as the 1st Bey\, 2nd Bey\, and 3rd Bey\nFor the first battle\, each blader uses their 1st Bey. For each battle afterwards\, bladers must use the next Bey in their deck order.\nAfter battling with the 3rd Bey\, both bladers may change the order of their deck in secret. Then\, each blader uses their 1st Bey for the next battle\n\nBattle: \n\nBoth bladers present the Beys they will use in the battle to each other by showing the top and bottom of the Bey so that all parts are clearly visible\nAttach your Bey to your launcher and hold it within launch range\n\ndirectly above or within your half of the arena\nwith the Bit of the Bey no higher than 2 inches above the stadiums highest point\nwith the Bey not tilted more than 70° in any direction\n\n\nBladers must launch in a way that doesn’t interfere with their opponent. Players need a Konami ID to register for the event in-store. \nWhat is Genesys? \nThe Genesys rules are simple: \nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are available. All other cards are. Players use the original field layout\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list does not apply. All of these cards are available\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. The usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points.
