Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. After crafting your deck\, put it to the test in a three round Swiss tournament. Win-a-match\, win-a-pack! \nThursday\, May 14th\n5:30pm\n$50 Entry \n  \nWhat is a Sealed Event?\nIn a Sealed tournament\, each player is provided with a set of unopened booster packs from which they will build their deck. You then play against other players who have done the same! \nAfter opening the packs\, you have a certain time limit to make a deck with the following rules: \n\nMinimum 40-card deck\nAny number of copies of a card\nAny number of ink colors\n\nThe rest of the cards you didn’t use are your sideboard–cards that you can use as substitutes for cards in your main deck. In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for our Riftbound Unleashed Pre-Rift!\nOn Friday\, May 1st at 5 PM\, compete in an exclusive pre-rift tournament for Unleashed! Gain early access to the newest set\, releasing May 8th\, by participating in one of our events! At a pre-rift event\, players open a pre-rift kit\, build up their decks with the contents within\, and play in a 3 round Swiss style tournament using their decks. Each match won awards players with an additional Unleashed pack! Players have 50 minutes to build their decks before the tournament starts. Rounds are 50 minutes\, best of 3. \nPlayers must register ahead of time on the Riftbound Event Locator. Our event is here! A carde.io account with a linked Riot Account is required for registration. Choose a Legend and Chosen Champion card for your deck and battle it out between 2 to 4 players in various game modes! The most important card in your deck is your champion legend. This is the card you build your deck around—it determines your options for the chosen champion who starts faceup on the board and who you’ll send to fight for you\, and it defines the domains (colors) of your deck’s cards. \nYour legend and your chosen champion define your strategy. Maybe your plan is quick strikes\, maybe it’s to build up an unstoppable huge army\, or maybe it’s to use one incredibly powerful and mobile fighter.
