Join us every Thursday to experience a casual level tournament that introduces players to the basics of tournament structure. This event is intended to let players participate in a tournament and learn the basics of match structure\, battle rules\, and overall tournament flow. Our rules are based on the rules from https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Beyblade-X-Rules but streamlined to make it easier to understand for first time players.  \nEntry: Free!\nThursdays at 5pm\n3 v 3 Tournament\, 3 Round tournament\nArena: Green BeybladeX Beystadium\nPlayers bring a deck of 3 Beys (must be BeybladeX)\n \nMatch Type: \nEarn 4 points to win a set. Win two 4-point sets to win the match. \nMatch Structure: \n\nEach blader orders their Beys from left to right as the 1st Bey\, 2nd Bey\, and 3rd Bey\nFor the first battle\, each blader uses their 1st Bey. For each battle afterwards\, bladers must use the next Bey in their deck order.\nAfter battling with the 3rd Bey\, both bladers may change the order of their deck in secret. Then\, each blader uses their 1st Bey for the next battle\n\nBattle: \n\nBoth bladers present the Beys they will use in the battle to each other by showing the top and bottom of the Bey so that all parts are clearly visible\nAttach your Bey to your launcher and hold it within launch range\n\ndirectly above or within your half of the arena\nwith the Bit of the Bey no higher than 2 inches above the stadiums highest point\nwith the Bey not tilted more than 70° in any direction\n\n\nBladers must launch in a way that doesn’t interfere with their opponent. Players use the original field layout\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones. \nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list does not apply. All of these cards are available\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. The usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies. \nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. Better yet\, each round you win earns you a Pokémon Prize Pack! So don’t wait\, grab a deck and be the very best (like no one ever was) to start your Pokémon adventure today! \nThis event welcomes players of all ages and skill levels. \nCheck out our other Pokémon events here: Pokémon Events at Gnome Games Appleton North \nWith Standard format rotating soon\, a reminder:\nFor in-person Play! Pokémon events\, the Standard format rotation for 2026 competitive play will go into effect on April 10\, 2026. \n\nCards with the “G” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in the 2026 Standard format. Cards with “H\,” “I\,” and “J” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released). A card’s legality status is not based on which expansion it’s from. Even if a card is from a recently released expansion\, players will need to refer to the regulation mark on the bottom of the card to see whether that card is legal for play. Pokémon events\, the Standard format rotation for 2026 competitive play will go into effect on April 10\, 2026. \n\nCards with the “G” regulation mark will no longer be legal for play in the 2026 Standard format. Cards with “H\,” “I\,” and “J” regulation marks will be legal to use (as will any future regulation marks that may be released). A card’s legality status is not based on which expansion it’s from. Even if a card is from a recently released expansion\, players will need to refer to the regulation mark on the bottom of the card to see whether that card is legal for play. New cards still must follow the appropriate waiting period to become tournament legal\, which is typically two weeks after their release.
