You can also register on pokemon.com! \nOur events are on: \n-May 9th @11am\n-May 14th @5:30pm\n-May 16th @11am \nWhat is Prerelease?\nA prerelease is a type of event that gives players the chance to get product early. In the case of Pokémon\, people can participate in events before the set comes out. Each person receives a Build & Battle kit\, which consists of a random 40 card deck and 4 packs of the set. Then they battle it out in 3 rounds of a Swiss style Tournament and receive extra packs at the end for participating! Players get to keep all of the cards that they get from prereleases. \nThe Prerelease format allows players to compete using a 40-card deck with four Prize cards set aside at the start of play. This is different from the usual 60-card deck with six Prize cards.
