While we know Earth Day is actually on April 22nd\, we’re hosting our full celebration for it on Saturday so our Pokémon Club friends can join in on the fun! For this very special\, once-a-year event\, we provide everyone with a Bulbasaur paper cutout\, some pots to wrap it around\, and seeds to plant! By time you’re done\, you’ll have your very own Bulbasaur pot to watch grow at home. \nWe provide soil\, various seed types\, and multiple coloring supplies to build up your pot with! This counts as a Pokémon Club activity\, so players can check-in for the week and qualify for Prize Packs as well. Don’t have a Pokémon ID? We can set you up with one in-store for free! \nEntry is $10 to cover supplies. \nWhat is the Pokémon Trading Card Game?\nThe Pokémon TCG is all about battling with various cards from the Pokémon franchise! You and your opponent will face off in a Pokémon battle and try to Knock Out each other’s Pokémon. The first player to Knock Out 6 Pokémon wins the game! Using cards such as Pokémon\, Trainers\, Arenas\, and more\, battle your way to victory! \nNot interested in battling? That’s where the trading comes in! Mega Evolution – Perfect Order will be legal for this Challenge. \nLeague Challenge \nRegistration opens at 10:00am and begins at 11am \nDeck-lists are required – Download one here \nLeague Challenge Entry: \nJuniors (Age 10 & Under) $5 \nSeniors (11 – 14) $5 \nMasters $10 \nWin a Match Win a Booster\, with Promo Packs going out to all players after Round 1 begins. \nChampionship Points are awarded based on attendance.  For more information visit here! \nWatch for other events here! \nWhile a unique Player ID must be used for each person to add them to the tournament\, competitors do not begin accruing Play! Points or Championship Points until their Player ID is registered to an active Pokémon Trainer Central account. Entry is purchasing a pack of the latest set and the first 4 people to attend get a Darth Tyranus promo card! \nSaturday\, April 25th\n1pm-4pm.\nEntry: Purchase a pack of Star Wars Unlimited! \nCheck out the Twin Suns deck breakdowns here! \nOf note: Attendees will not be taking the decks home\, they will remain with Gnome Games. \nAggressive Negotiations is led by Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala.\nThis deck is all about rushing into the fray with lots of units\, protecting your forces from harm as they dish out an unrelenting assault against your opponents. \nMaster and Apprentice is led by Count Dooku and Asajj Ventress.\nThe leaders of Master and Apprentice take a more subtle and elegant approach to victory\, manipulating your opponents while steadily building up strength for a powerful late game. \nAgainst the Odds is led by Rex and Ahsoka Tano.\nThese leaders are all about adapting on the fly\, relying on event cards to get them out of tight spots and snatch victory in ways no one could predict\, not even themselves. \nBlood Brothers is led by Maul and Savage Opress.\nIn this deck\, overwhelming offense is the name of the game. \nWhy Play Twin Suns?\n\nThe primary multiplayer format of Star Wars: Unlimited  \nA fun and unpredictable format to play with friends\nSpecial deckbuilding rules allow for a unique experience compared to other formats\n\nTwin Suns Overview\nA constructed format utilizing the game’s multiplayer rules\, Twin Suns is a fun alternative way to play Star Wars: Unlimited with a unique approach to deckbuilding. Take on multiple opponents in a free-for-all and see if you can emerge victorious! \nTo play in the Twin Suns format\, you must build your deck ahead of time\, adhering to the following rules: \nYour deck must include exactly two leaders. These leaders must share either the Heroism (white) or Villainy (black) aspect. You will start the game with both leaders in play\, and you’ll be able to use both of their abilities throughout the game. \nYour deck must include exactly one base. \nYour deck must include a minimum 80-card* draw deck. You cannot have more than one copy of any card in your deck. \nTypically\, the winner of a Twin Suns match is determined by best-of-one game. Each game should take an average of 45 to 80 minutes to complete\, depending on the player count.
