DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys at Gnome Games Green Bay East!\nGnome Games Green Bay East formally invites you to our Genesys Celebration Event! \n \nSaturday May 23rd\n12:00pm\nEntry is the purchase of three (3) Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs \nThis will be a 100 Point Cap Genesys 3 round Swiss style tournament. One (1) Game Mat will be distributed as a prize to the 1st place winner\, after the conclusion of the last round. The other Game Mat will be randomly distributed as a door prize amongst Duelists who participated. The second Game Mat cannot be awarded to a Duelist that has already won the first Game Mat. \n  \nWhat is Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys?\nThe Genesys rules are simple: \n\nNo Link Monsters or Pendulum Monsters are allowed. All other cards are allowed. The original field layout is used\, with no Extra Monster Zones nor Pendulum Zones.\nThe standard Forbidden & Limited Cards list is not used. All those cards can be used\, except Link Monsters and Pendulum Monsters. Usual limit of 3 copies max of any card still applies.\nDeck construction uses a point system. Some cards are assigned a point value; most cards cost zero points. The total point cost of cards in your Main Deck\, Extra Deck\, and Side Deck (combined) cannot exceed the point cap for that event.\n The standard point cap is 100\, but events can be run with any point cap\, or even a zero-point cap! Official Tournament Stores can set their own caps for their tournaments.

Players will open 5 packs of Sakamoto Days and use them as a deck to compete in matches. Each round won awards players with an additional pack! Each participant gets a Release Event Pack and a promotional card. One Winner will get a special Winner foil stamped promotional card! \n  \nHow does Deckbuilding Work?\nBecause of how sealed events operate\, decks can have more than four cards with the same card number. It can also contain more than four of each of the Special\, Color\, and Final trigger types. 5 booster packs contribute to creating as close to a 60 card deck as possible. A deck needs 3 Action Point cards\, Raids can be performed using cards with two different colors\, and five Special triggers can be in a deck.
