From 10 AM to 1 PM\, kids can come in to experience Pokémon with other like-minded kids! We provide coloring sheets and utensils free of charge\, and have Pokémon playing on the back TV to watch! On the first and third visit each month\, players will receive prize packs that include more cards to add to their collections. \nPlayers need a Play! Pokémon ID to qualify for prize packs. If you don’t have an account\, no worries! We can help you set one up in-store\, and registration can be completed at your convenience. \nWhat is Pokémon?\nThe Pokémon TCG is all about battling with various cards from the Pokémon franchise! You and your opponent will face off in a Pokémon battle and try to Knock Out each other’s Pokémon. The first player to Knock Out 6 Pokémon wins the game! Using cards such as Pokémon\, Trainers\, Arenas\, and more\, battle your way to victory! \nNot interested in battling? That’s where the trading comes in! DESCRIPTION:Join us at Gnome Games Appleton East for a Pokémon TCG League Cup!\nOn Saturday\, May 16th at 11 AM\, compete in one of our League Cups! Through attendance-based rounds\, find out who has the best deck and who plays it the best! Players are paired based on their age division\, but are grouped together if there are not enough players in any one age division. The winner in each age division receives an exclusive Champion playmat! \nRounds are 30 minutes\, best of one. Each round won awards players with a Prize Pack! Entry for each age division is: \nJuniors: $5 \nSeniors: $10 \nMasters: $15 \nWhat do I need to participate?\nPlayers must have a Pokémon Trainer Club ID to register for the event\, and a deck list to participate. We provide sheets for people to fill out. Please show up a bit early to allow time to fill them out\, or come in with a complete form. Cards must be part of the Pokémon Standard Format. \nWhat are Pokémon League Challenges and Cups?\nA League Challenge is a small entry-level event occurring monthly by eligible Play! Pokémon Stores. In Pokémon League Challenge tournaments\, competitors can earn Championship Points (CP) and work toward earning an invitation to the World Championships! These events are designed to be a competitor’s first experience of formal tournament competition before moving up to League Cups\, Regional Championships\, and beyond. \nFor information on what is Standard Format\, check here.
